He is here!!

Finally that moment arrived when we first saw him. It was so emotional and so beautiful! It couldn't have been any better. Everyone in the family is so excited and we are enjoying our sleepless nights with him. Looking at him for hours even when he is sleeping, does not make us tired. Hoping, wishing and praying for a very healthy and a very happy life for our little boy!

Almost here!

With less than 15 days remaining for the baby to be here, excitement is building up. It is over-whelming!! All the baby stuff is here. As much as we want to see him quickly, we are hoping that he wont arrive before his due date because we are still not completely ready. We do not have a name for him yet;-) Too much to be done in too little time. Between our respective jobs, doctor visits, running and working out, socializing, Shavi's training for his first 100-miler race in Tahoe and settling in a new house, how the 9-months of pregnancy passed so quickly, is still a mystery to us. I am sure before we even know, our little baby boy will be ready to go to school. Cant wait to see him!

We are excited to share with everybody that it's a baby boy!!

He'll be here in October!!:) Thanks to Shavi and Anu for throwing me a grand baby shower. You are my sweethearts. Thanks to my mom dad who made it to the shower all the way from India and helped us with everything. Many thanks to all my friends for showering all their love and for making it to the shower!

Baby Gender Guessing Game

Ruchi and Shavi are excited to announce that they (and I) are eagerly waiting for their first baby in October.

They are finding out the gender of the baby on May 23 and I cannot wait! While we are waiting, I figured I would come up with a game which will make this entire waiting process, little bit more fun. This game is about figuring out what the sex of the baby is going to be.

I assume you can't have better odds than this to win! All winners will be entered into a raffle to win three grand prizes. Not sure how grand the prize will actually be ;-) You see, it's all relative!!

 Most of you have probably already seen her and have a good guess of what the gender could be (as per various Old Wives' tales). For those who haven't seen her, here are some observations which might help ;-)

1. She has no nausea or morning sickness.
2. She has lot of heartburn.
3. She has no cravings but has some food aversions (especially sweets! Really??).

Thank you friends for being a part of this! I am really excited and I wish them a happy and healthy baby!
